INDEPENDENT SENATORS GROUP
GROUPE DES SÉNATEURS INDÉPENDANTS
OPEN CAUCUS
The Senate Open Caucus is a forum for discussion on issues of national importance that do not always receive the level of attention given to other matters on Parliament Hill. Originally established by the Independent Senate Liberals in 2014, Open Caucus has evolved into a partnership between three Senate groups consisting of the Independent Senators Group (ISG), the Independent Senate Liberals and the Office of the Government Representative in the Senate. This non-partisan collaboration brings together the three groups representing the majority of the Senate’s current membership.
The discussion is open to all Senators, Members of Parliament, parliamentary staff and the interested members of the public.
