The Charter of the Independent Senators Group states that ISG Senators are committed to principles of integrity, independence, and transparency. In line with these principles, ISG Senators have included in the Charter a requirement to disclose, in writing, their membership of a recognized political party currently registered under the Canada Elections Act. Any changes thereto must also be disclosed within 30 calendar days of the change (section 5.1 (iv) of the Charter). This form allows ISG Senators to disclose their membership of a recognized political party to the Secretariat of the ISG.
